My Boy and his amish friend

We'll here we are.
I'm not great a spelling so please give me some slack.
I'm gonna try and let you in on my trips to Amish Farms.
Since I started my Amish store In Nashville Tennessee, I've become friends with a few Amish Families.
If you've ever spent any time with Amish people that you don't know, they are real distant from you.
They stare right through you with no expression. I'm not sure why that is yet?

Anyway, I have visited and purchased baskets, rolling pins, cedar furniture and more form these families here in Rural Tennessee.

One Family in particular I'm spent the most time with. There must be 6 kids total.
The youngest is about 5 years old and is a little boy.
He's filthy dirty all the time but is the neatest little guy.
Real cute in his blue clothing.

I took my 4 year old boy down with me and these two took off in the mud fields having the time of their lives like most little kids can do.
Funny how the two bonded.

The reason I tell you this is because the first few times I went down, all the kids run into the house, and the dad comes out. they all scatter from the "English".

I've been visiting now for about 3 months. The bonds between me and the father, mother and kids have really grown.
I've had some great talks about god, family values and health issues.

Now when I show up, the kids all run out to my truck and sit on the back of the talegate and talk with me. They all get big smiles on their faces and come running when they see me pull in.
I've made some great new friends.
